Every tool here runs on your own device
There is no server on this site that processes your work. Open a tool and its code downloads to your browser and runs there — the invoice you fill in, the image you compress, the HTML file you edit, the contract you draft. None of it is transmitted anywhere, because there is nothing on our side to receive it.
The simplest way to check that claim is to disconnect from the internet: almost every tool here keeps working. The single exception is the word unscrambler, which downloads a fixed public-domain dictionary the first time you use it — a one-way request for a static file, with nothing you typed in it.
This matters most for the tools people hesitate over. A contract carries the other party’s name. An invoice carries your bank details. A résumé carries an address and a phone number. Uploading those to a stranger’s server to have a PDF made is a genuinely bad trade, and it is one nobody has to make here.
Free, with no account and no paid tier
Nothing here asks you to sign up, and nothing is held back behind an upgrade. There is no watermark to remove, no export limit, no trial that expires. You can open a tool, do the job, and close the tab without leaving anything behind.
The running costs are covered by advertising through Google AdSense, which is worth saying plainly rather than burying: the ad script is part of every page, so your browser contacts Google before you interact with anything, and Google may set cookies through it. Every tool on this site works exactly the same way with an ad blocker running. The Privacy page sets out what the ads and the analytics actually involve, and the About page explains how the site is paid for.
Some tools keep a draft — in your browser, not ours
The document builders save what you have typed so that closing a tab by accident does not cost you an hour of work: the invoice and quotation makers, the proposal, résumé and slide generators, the receipt, purchase order, delivery order and statement of account, the planner and the to-do list, and the expenses calculator.
That saving happens in your own browser’s storage, on your own device. It never reaches us and we cannot read it. The consequence is worth knowing before it surprises you: on a shared office or library computer, the next person to open that page will find the draft still there, because it is a file on that computer rather than an account with a password. Terms explains how to clear it.
The tools that do not save anything say so on their own pages. A word counter that quietly kept your unpublished draft would be a worse tool, not a more convenient one.
Where the numbers come from
Several tools here print figures people act on — a road tax amount, a monthly instalment, stamp duty, a word count against a submission limit. Each of those pages says how the number was worked out, and where it can disagree with another source it says that too, rather than leaving you to find out from a bank letter.
The loan pages compute every figure in whole cents, so the closing balance of a 360-month schedule lands on zero instead of a few tenths of a sen off. The car loan page works in flat rate, because that is how Malaysian hire purchase is quoted, and it prints the reducing-rate equivalent underneath — the only figure that is comparable to a personal loan. The word counter explains exactly where its count differs from Microsoft Word and why.
Statutory tables carry the date they were taken from, on the page, beside the figure. If a band or a rate looks wrong to you, the Contact page is how that gets fixed, and it is genuinely how several of them have been.
Common questions
Is UtilifyHub really free?
Yes, all 97 tools, with no account, no trial, and no paid tier to upgrade to. There is no watermark on anything you produce and no cap on how many times you can use a tool. The site is paid for by advertising, which is described on the About page.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There is no sign-up anywhere on this site, and no way to make one — there is no server holding accounts. That is also why there is no "restore my documents" feature: nothing you make is stored anywhere we could restore it from.
Are my files or my text uploaded?
No. Every tool runs inside your browser, so the file you open and the text you paste stay on your device. There is one narrow exception worth naming honestly: the word unscrambler fetches its dictionary file from this site the first time you use it. That request goes one way and carries nothing you typed.
Does anything get saved on my computer?
Some tools save a draft in your browser’s own storage so you do not lose a half-finished invoice or résumé — the document builders, the planner, the to-do list and a few others. That data stays on your device and we cannot read it. Tools that save nothing say so on their own pages. On a shared computer, remember that a saved draft is still there for the next person; the Terms page explains how to clear it.
Do the tools work offline?
Almost all of them do, once the page has loaded once. That is a side effect of running everything locally rather than a feature that was added: if the work happens on your device, there is nothing to be offline from. The word unscrambler needs its dictionary downloaded first, after which it works offline too.
Can I use what I make here for work or for clients?
Yes. Invoices, quotations, contracts, proposals, résumés, certificates and slide decks made here are yours, with no attribution required and no licence attached. What this site provides is the template and the arithmetic. The documents are not legal or financial advice, and you are responsible for what you send — Terms covers that in full.
Why are some tools written specifically for Malaysia?
Because the alternative is a tool that looks authoritative and is wrong for the person reading it. Road tax uses the published JPJ engine-capacity bands, the mortgage page shows Malaysian stamp duty band by band, the car loan page works in flat rate because that is how hire purchase is quoted here, and the days calculator offers a Friday–Saturday weekend because several Malaysian states take those days. Everything else — the converters, the text and image tools, the developer utilities — is not country-specific.
How do I find a tool quickly?
Press Cmd+K (or Ctrl+K), or just the / key when you are not typing in a field. That opens a search across all 97 tools. The search runs entirely in your browser, so no request leaves the page — which is why the privacy position did not have to change to ship it. Every tool is also linked from the footer of every page.
A number here disagrees with my bank letter. What now?
Please tell us, because that is the most useful message this site receives. Say which tool, what you entered, what it printed, and what the other source says. The Contact page has the address and what makes a report actionable. Corrections get made and the page says the date it was last checked.
