Terms of use

The tools here are free and provided as they are. You are responsible for the documents you produce with them, and nothing on this site is legal, financial or professional advice.

Using the site

UtilifyHub is operated by PIXEL & BORDERS SERVICES, a business registered in Malaysia under SSM registration number SA0519429-W. Where these terms say "we", that is who they mean.

UtilifyHub is free to use, with no account and no sign-up. You may use the tools for personal or commercial work, including work you are paid for, and the documents and files you create with them are yours. We claim no rights over anything you produce.

What you may not do is misuse the site itself: attempting to break it, overload it, or redistribute it as your own service.

The documents these tools generate are templates, not advice

This matters most for the contract generator, but it applies across the site. A generated non-disclosure agreement or service agreement is a standard template. It is a reasonable starting point for everyday business, but law differs by country, by state and by situation, and no template can know yours.

The same applies to every generator and calculator here: they arrange numbers and text that you supply. They do not check whether the result is correct, compliant, or appropriate for your circumstances.

Nothing generated here is legal, tax, accounting, financial, medical, academic or employment advice. Have a qualified professional review anything that carries real consequence — including any clause you write yourself.

Published rates and reference figures

Some tools carry figures that come from somewhere else rather than from you: road tax bands, stamp duty tiers, BMI categories, unit conversion factors. Those are transcribed from published schedules and standards. They are not fetched live from any authority, and there is no authority behind this site.

Two things follow, and we would rather say them than have you assume otherwise. Rates change — budgets revise them, exemptions come and go, and a figure that was right when it was entered can quietly stop being right. Where a rate is used, the page shows the date it was checked, so you can see how old it is. And a transcription can simply be wrong. We check figures against more than one published source and against each other before shipping them, but that is not the same as reading the gazette.

So treat every one of those numbers as an estimate for planning, and the issuing authority as the number that counts — JPJ for road tax, the stamp office for duty, a doctor for anything about your health. If you spot a figure that looks wrong, the Report a bug link at the bottom of every page is the fastest way to tell us, and corrections are welcome. That link is a real part of how this site stays accurate, not decoration.

No warranty

The site and its tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the tools are free of errors, that they will be available without interruption, or that any output is accurate or fit for a particular purpose.

Because everything runs in your browser, results can vary with your browser, its version and its settings. Printed output in particular depends on your browser’s own print dialog.

Where your work is kept, and what that means for you

Some tools keep a draft so that closing the tab does not lose your work. That draft is written by your own browser into its local storage, on the device you are using. It is not sent anywhere and there is no database at the other end — we do not operate one, we never receive what you type, and we could not retrieve a draft for you if you asked. The site is a set of static files; the tools are code that runs on your machine.

One consequence follows from that and it is worth stating plainly rather than leaving you to discover it. A draft stays on the computer that made it, for whoever uses that computer next. On your own laptop that is the point — you come back and your invoice is still there. On a shared machine at an office, a library or an internet café, the next person can open the same page and see the same draft. Nothing is protecting it, because it is a file on that computer and not an account with a password.

So on a machine that is not yours: clear it when you are done. Every tool that keeps a draft has a control to start again from blank, and your browser’s "clear site data" or "clear browsing data" removes all of it at once. Keys used by this site all begin with utilifyhub:, so clearing this site’s data touches nothing else. Which tools keep a draft, and what each one holds, is set out on the privacy page.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or of anything produced with it. That includes lost data, lost profits, lost work, and any consequence of a document generated here being incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable.

Since your work is processed and kept only by your own browser, keeping your own copies of anything you need is your responsibility. Clearing your browser data removes any saved drafts, and they cannot be recovered by us — we never had them.

Advertising and third parties

This site carries advertising and links to third-party sites. We do not control the content of ads or of sites they lead to, and their appearance here is not an endorsement. See the privacy policy for how advertising and analytics cookies are used.

Changes and governing law

These terms may change as the site changes; the date at the top is the date they last did. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the current version.

These terms are an agreement between you and PIXEL & BORDERS SERVICES (SSM SA0519429-W), the registered business that operates UtilifyHub, and they are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
